God given Foods Eating Plan

There are many books about nutrition and the Bible. Some are very good, but many suffer from a common problem. They put an inordinate emphasis on the first three chapters of Genesis while virtually ignoring the rest of the Bible. As a result, such books inevitably end up declaring that “God-s ideal diet” is a vegetarian diet.
However, this book studies all 1189 chapters of the Bible. By doing so, a much different picture emerges. God gave meat to us for food, and meat-eating is assumed throughout Scripture, with no negative connotations. Moreover, red meat, poultry, and fish can and should be included in a healthy eating plan. This is all documented in this book.
The approach of this book is to study different foods and food groups, with a chapter devoted to each major classification of foods. First the Biblical evidence is considered, then the results of this research is compared to what modern day scientific research is saying a healthy eating plan entails. Foods are then classified as -God-given foods- and -non-God-given foods.-
The main point will be that a healthy diet is one composed of a variety of God-given foods and that avoids non-God-given foods. This will simplify the designing of a healthy eating plan.
Another unique feature of this book is the eating plan proposed is designed to optimize hormones, such as testosterone, growth hormone, and insulin. This can produce dramatic differences in a person-s health and ability to live a robust life. It can also lead to a gain in muscle mass and a loss of body fat.
The optimization of hormones can also lead to improved athletic performance. In addition, this book looks at other aspects of athletic nutrition, especially pre- and post-workout eating.
Such a focus on hormone optimization and athletic performance is not found in any of the books currently on the market about nutrition and the Bible. In fact, the type of diet often promoted in those books and in many popular diet books can be detrimental to the functioning of hormones and athletic performance. This focus sets this book apart from the rest.

5 Stars Excellent Book!
I just finished reading the book “God-given Foods Eating Plan”. It is by far the best book on nutrition that I have ever read. I hated for the book to end. (I found the book by googling food and human growth hormone. My son is 15, a basketball player, and wants to grow taller, and I knew it was a bad idea for him to eat sugar right before bed, which is what he has been doing.)
The only books I read are nutrition books, and I have been reading them for the past 14 years. This book covers everything I have ever learned, but it also covers so many things that I didn’t know, and I thought that I knew a lot. It is also very easy to read and understand, not only because of the author’s personable writing style, but also in the way the paragraphs are broken up onto two sides of each page.
The most enlightening part of the book was on page 96, where it explains why cows are vegetarians. I always thought that advocates of vegetarianism had validity to their argument (cows only eat grains, and look at how healthy they are). But now I know that they eat that way because God designed them not to eat meat, so that they would be fit for us to eat. This information has increased my belief that there is a God!
5 Stars The Foods God Has Given Us
This book covers just about everything and anything you ever wanted to know about what foods are healthiest to eat, and more importantly, the foods that God has given us to eat and enjoy. I love how the author uses scripture references and empirical studies to show benefits and health risks of various foods. Throughout the book he lists the healthiest foods, which has helped me develop my own nutrional program; I’m much more knowledgable now about why some foods are healthier than others. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting more knowledge and guidance on what should and shouldn’t be the staples in a healthy diet.
